Kenshi System Requirements

Kenshi can run on lower-end PCs if they meet the minimum requirements: a dual-core 64-bit processor, a DirectX 9c compatible graphics card with 2GB of VRAM, and 6GB of RAM. However, expect lower frame rates and longer loading times, especially in densely populated areas.

At a minimum, you'll need a DirectX 9c compatible graphics card with 2GB of VRAM. For a smoother experience with higher settings, a DirectX 11 compatible card with 4GB of VRAM is recommended.

Kenshi requires a minimum of 6GB of RAM to run. However, 16GB of RAM is recommended for optimal performance, especially when running the game with higher settings or mods.

While technically possible if your integrated graphics meet the minimum 2GB VRAM requirement, performance will likely be very poor. Expect extremely low frame rates and potential graphical glitches. A dedicated graphics card is highly recommended.

The best graphics settings depend on your hardware. Start with the 'Low' preset and gradually increase settings like texture quality, shadows, and draw distance until you find a balance between visual quality and performance. Experiment with turning off shadows and reducing the population density for a performance boost.
