Frostpunk: The Rifts System Requirements

If your PC meets the minimum requirements (Intel Core i3-3220, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4GB / AMD Radeon R7 370 4GB, 8 GB RAM), you should be able to run Frostpunk: The Rifts, but expect lower graphics settings and potentially lower frame rates. Performance may be significantly impacted during large settlements or complex scenarios.

At a minimum, you'll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4GB or an AMD Radeon R7 370 4GB. For a smoother experience with higher settings, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or an AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB is recommended.

Frostpunk: The Rifts requires at least 8 GB of RAM to run. However, 16 GB of RAM is recommended for optimal performance, especially with larger cities and higher graphics settings. Insufficient RAM can lead to stuttering and performance issues.

It's unlikely Frostpunk: The Rifts will run well, or at all, on integrated graphics. The game requires a dedicated graphics card with at least 4GB of VRAM to handle its visual complexity. Integrated graphics typically do not meet this requirement.

The best settings depend on your hardware. If you meet the recommended specs, you can likely run on high or ultra. If you meet the minimum specs, start with medium or low settings and adjust upwards until you find a balance between visual quality and performance. Pay close attention to shadow quality and texture detail, as these can heavily impact performance.
